Inspired by motorcycles, co-developed by champion baristas, meticulously assembled and hand crafted by Sanremo. The Cafe Racer is brimming with advanced espresso technology, designed for speed, precision, ease of use and customisation. The Cafe Racer is the current official machine of the World Barista Championships, it the style and presence of a powerful, stripped back, custom motorbike.
Standing out in the crowd, it oozes the rebellious attitude of 1950’s bikers, with Sanremo’s clear Italian heritage and innovative technical engineering. Combining these elements, Sanremo created a coffee machine that meets high volume demands and yet delivers it with a style that commands respect.
The Cafe Racer is fitted with competition standard showers and portafilter baskets in 2 sizes by IMS for Sanremo. Temperature precision and control comes from insulated stainless steel boilers, independent for pre-heating and brewing for each group. The high-flow rotary pump ensures optimal brewing pressure is always maintained, even with all groups operating together. Soft pre-infusion allows more even extraction, and can be adjusted independently for each dose.
