BRITA Water Treatment / Filtration Coffee 1652 recommends Brita water filters are fitted to any plumbed-in coffee machine to prevent the build-up of lime scale and eliminate odours. Manufacturers recommend that filters are replaced annually to prevent damage to your machine and warranties becoming invalidated. Exceptions to this are very busy sites or sites where a small filter has to be used due to space restrictions. In these circumstances the filter should be replaced more often.
