Our Verde 7oz compostable paper cups are suitable for both hot and cold drinks.  What makes the Verde cup so special is that the liner is made from a plant material called Polylactide acid (PLA), it looks and behaves like polyethylene and polypropylene (Plastic) as used in standard plastic cups and plastic lined paper cups.

Here’s the techy bit, the molecules in these PLA cups slowly absorb water and swell up, causing them to break apart into small fragments that bacteria can digest more readily and become compost.
