Our Take Away Natural Kraft paper products are made from a bio-material that is entirely plant based and completely compostable. An affordable high quality green option to replace unsustainable plastic lids. Our 100% compostable 90mm white kraft lids are suitable for both hot and cold food. What makes these lids special is that they are made from bio-material, it looks and behaves like polyethylene and polypropylene (Plastic) lids. Here’s the green techy bit, the molecules in these bio-material based lids slowly absorb water and swell up, causing them to break apart into small fragments that bacteria can digest more readily, which then becomes composted soil.
Manufactured in accordance with the European standard EN-13432 for composting.
